PATIO POOL

[:bg]

IT’S SUMMER!

And our first thought in the summer is about the sea and the coolness it offers us.

However, nothing prevents us from getting closer to the water without going to the sea. Therefore, we offer you some interesting options for swimming pools located in the backyards of homes that we think you will like and would inspire you 🙂

They don’t have to be huge or pretentious, because the very fact that we have a private pool creates a summer enough atmosphere full of emotions. What is mandatory is that the shape and design of the pool be an extension of those of the house. And since modern homes have a clean design, saturated with straight lines and cubic shapes, this means that the shape of the pools should not be different.

Dive boldly!

The materials from which they are made are extremely diverse – coated textiles, wood, linen, metal, vinyl. And their size and shape depend entirely on the space where they will be located. In addition to shading a certain place, awnings could give additional coziness or change the look of the garden to make it look modern, Mediterranean or… The possibilities are endless and depend entirely on the taste and preferences of the inhabitants. We offer you some modern ideas on this topic, with which we hope to inspire you!

MIRROR, MIRROR FROM THE WALL …

[:bg]

I guess everyone has heard this fairy tale, and that everyone has at least one mirror in their home.

By itself, it is a versatile item that can be used in any room, but designers prefer to place them in the entrance area. In fact, hallways, dining rooms and other rooms deprived of natural light are ideal for installing mirrors. And when combined with a bold frame and original lighting, they allow you to create a unique atmosphere!

Try playing with mirrors by hanging a group of them on a certain wall. The only thing you need to make sure is that they are proportional to each other, as well as to the wall itself. Placed in the right place, mirrors become not only the accent of the room, but also become an additional source of light! So be brave and use them as decorative windows or paintings!

Here we present you several models whose design and colors are consistent with modern trends, and which we believe you will like.

Nature-inspired furniture

As we well know from personal experience, life in the city can be terribly stressful. According to a study by Dr. Jens Prusner of the Quebec Mental Health Clinic, people living in cities are at risk of panic attacks, nervousness and even schizophrenia as much as 39 percent more than their counterparts who enjoy a direct connection to natural greenery and open spaces. The urban jungle of concrete in which we spend day after day pushes nature away and leaves a void that is difficult to fill. Difficult, but not impossible! Nature and natural materials are the greatest inspiration for designers and their answer is not long in coming! One of the most curious manifestations of this passion is the extravagant furniture, which gives incredible coziness and comfort to our home. Imagine a chair or chest of drawers, literally in the shape of a tree, or a table whose countertop is covered with fresh grass, and why not a mirror with a frame resembling the opening of a hollow? J Would you get such a piece of furniture? And where would you put it? [:en]As we know from personal experience, life in the city can be terribly stressful. THE MODERN FLOOR – A MIX OF FLOORING

[:bg]

In modern construction, the unification of different premises in one common space is a current “trend” and this requires the search for solutions for separating the different zones depending on the functions of the given room. One of the ways to do this is through the combination of different types of flooring – for example, wooden parquet or laminate with granite or terracotta, or cork with resin, etc. The precise execution of the transition between the different materials, as well as the appropriately selected type and color of the flooring, guarantee the quality of this bold solution! The effect that occurs with such combinations is provoking, artistic and impressive, and the motifs are completely practical. Usually, such a combination of different types of flooring is undertaken to separate the kitchen from the dining room, to separate a corner around and in front of the fireplace, to zone the living room or to separate the entrance hall from the corridors. Here are some examples of similar mixing of materials that you could try in your home 🙂

The Glowing Gardens of Babylon

[:bg]

Each of us would like to bring a part of nature into our home and enjoy the greenery of living plants, sitting comfortably in our armchair. An original way to realize this idea is by planting a flower or a suitable type of grass in an existing lighting fixture, or by adapting a new one. For sure, the effect of such a hanging garden will be impressive and it would become the accent of the respective room. An example of such a creation is the famous Babylon Light lamp, which, according to its author, designer Ryan Tyler, can be used as a piece of a nature reserve or as a herb garden above the kitchen counter. A matter of choice ….

Of course, the realization of such an idea requires some technical safety measures and some knowledge of the compatibility and conditions necessary for the cultivation of the respective plant species. As the designer himself shares, this is a balance between 3 things: a functional lighting fixture, a plant-friendly pot and visual aesthetics!

Here are some options for similar lamps that we hope will interest you!

The button only on the garment or on the furniture?

[:bg]

The idea for this theme came to us after we came across the Button Sofa – a sofa made by a couple of Swedish designers, whose idea was to emphasize its Scandinavian look by adding wooden buttons.

It turns out that this small detail of our clothing is successfully applied in furniture design and production! The examples are endless – from the decoration of pillows, chairs, sofas and lamps, through cabinet handles, to its completely independent use as furniture – a stool, a table or a hanger. The presence of buttons in furniture changes its appearance and style immensely. Depending on their quantity, shape and color, they give the furniture a romantic, classic or modern look.

Here we have selected for you a few different types of knob applications, waiting to find out what you think about them? 🙂
