This 40 sq.m. apartment is a great example of a modern interior nestled within an old building in the heart of the capital. The design concept, above all, aims to reflect the spirit of a historical building located just 5 minutes from the Sofia Opera House.
On the other hand, familiar techniques are employed to create the illusion of a visually larger space: the main room is divided into two zones with the help of a functional shelf; light and fresh colors combined with bold accents enhance the sense of spaciousness (most notably in the small bathroom).
Overall, the apartment’s style emphasizes a harmonious atmosphere, with its beauty lying in the practicality of a simple interior in light tones.
The interior was awarded first prize in the “Small Residence” category at the 2018 “House of the Year” awards by Idealen Dom magazine.
