In addition to always reminding us of Mediterranean beaches and salty breezes, it is characteristic that it is a mixture of several geographical regions – it has borrowings from both the Spanish and Italian styles. Of course, for us, the white cement facades mostly remind us of our closer Greece, but they also carry this architectural spirit. They are considered, broadly speaking, Mediterranean, since they all share some typical elements.

Such are the many decorative motifs, heavy doors, light façade and tiles, fragments of wrought iron. Let’s not miss the romantic arch, which can be seen from the very entrance gate of the yard, and even on a sculpted window. And in contrast to the façade in neutral tones is the ceramic red roof, which turns the house into a home.

The modern interpretation of Mediterranean architecture has an emphasis on a casual lifestyle and open spaces. This also determines the choice of furniture with an extremely comfortable design, suitable for relaxation.

It is almost mandatory to have at least one floor designed with spacious openings. If it is impossible to have a large terrace, then a gazebo or a summer kitchen can make use of the stay outside in a cozy corner.
