Interior fashion for 2019

[:bg]

ATG Design designers constantly follow the new trends in interior fashion, visit exhibitions and fairs, observe the work of the most famous architects and designers and adapt everything seen especially for you!

We have collected several trends that will play a major role in modern interiors for 2019:

  • Coral color

The Pantone Institute has determined the next most fashionable shade for the year – the color of 2019 is “living coral”. Home accessories in pink-gold tones will pleasantly refresh the interior and add life and warmth to the overall color range.

2019trends_collage

  • Autumn colors

If the palette in 2018 included natural shades – beige, green, muted yellow, then in 2019 colors become trendy, which we can call autumn – not very bright, complex and warm: ocher, salmon, terracotta, soft orange and burgundy. The main role will be played by green and deep dark colors, which give the interior depth and work well as accents.

Similar colors can be used in the bathroom – the usual monochromatic palette can be diluted with cold shades of colors such as green, pink, burgundy and blue. In 2019, these nuances can be seen not only in collections of tiles and porcelain stoneware, but also in household appliances, bathroom furniture and even faucets.

  • Marble

From a gorgeous accent, this material becomes the main character. It exits the bathroom and spreads over all rooms in the form of chairs, coffee tables, vestibule consoles, skirting boards and kitchen surfaces. Please note: pure white marble is replaced by green, gray or coral marble with large patterns and contrasting shades.

  • More nature

Plant motifs are back with double force. They will manifest themselves not only in the usual details in the interior such as prints or pillows with tropical tree leaves, but also in the collections of wallpaper, ceramic tiles, carpets. In the long run, the trend of exotic plants is coming to an end. In its place comes domestic flora: hydrangeas, ficuses, field flowers, local landscapes and bouquets of roses.

  • Wabi Sabi

The untreated surface is another obvious trend in 2019. For example, wood does not need to be processed to a state where it can be mistaken for an artificial canvas or a high-quality printed surface on a natural theme.

2019trends4

The imperfection of the raw surfaces and the simplicity of the shapes are close to the Japanese aesthetics of wabi sabi. It emphasizes the beauty of imperfection, of the authentic, urging us to use objects even after their surfaces have acquired imperfections.

  • Authenticity

The designers predict that Europe will experience another fascination with simple shapes, pronounced textures and clean fabrics. Items that give a special atmosphere and are made of environmentally friendly materials can be a stylish accent in modern interiors.

  • Colored ceiling

From bright colors to different patterns, the unusual color of the ceiling visually enlarges the space. In fact, such a solution looks much more impressive than the usual white ceiling that everyone is tired of.

  • Metal objects

Shades of brass, gold or nickel will go well with oil bronze or with the color of old iron. Metal objects will look good in bright and minimalist interiors.

Undoubtedly, professional flair plays an essential role in the creation of the design. It allows you to foresee every detail in the interior and establish a close relationship with the temperament of the inhabitants. Therefore, do not hesitate to seek professional support. More than design: hygge-style interior

[:bg]

An easy way to make your home a source of happiness.

We have all known for a long time what hygge is – synonymous with coziness, a sense of safety and well-being. Cold winter is the best time to rediscover this style and look at the main ways to adapt at home!

The approximate translation of the Danish term “Hyggekrog” is “cozy corner”, the idea of which is organizing a place where we can sit, wrapped in a blanket with a book in hand and a cup of aromatic tea.

  1. Fireplace

Residents of Denmark believe that the fireplace is the embodiment of hygge . We know that not everyone has the opportunity to position a fireplace at home, especially if the interior is already finished. A reasonable solution to this problem are organic fireplaces, which we introduced you to in our previous article!

2. Candles

Without candles, there is no hygne. Choose the right color and shape options for your interior and place them boldly! Tip: Don’t forget to ventilate the rooms in your home – candles pollute the air with harmful microparticles. You can choose a suitable fragrance using the tips from this material.

3. Furniture and decoration made of wood.

Wood makes us feel in sync with nature. It is a natural material that completely coincides with the concept of hygge.

4. Nature.

If there is such an opportunity, the Danes will bring the whole mountain home. Leaves, cones, twigs in the form of an interesting decoration will make the interior especially distinctive and cozy.

5. Ceramics and porcelain.

A beautiful teapot, a vase on the dining table or your favorite cup from which you drink tea while you are at home – all this is hygge.

6. Nice textures.

For a hygge-style interior, it is important not only how all items look and how they are positioned, but also what they are to the touch. It is necessary to think about what tactile sensations these objects create and create a variety of textures.

7. Pillows and duvets.

Mandatory attributes of hygge, especially in cold weather. Duvet covers are desirable to be made of natural materials such as cotton and wool, and pillows are diverse and numerous.

Undoubtedly, professional flair plays an essential role in the layout of the interior . It allows every detail in the design to be foreseen . Therefore, do not hesitate to seek professional support. We are here to assist you in creating your dream interior! [:]

It is the heart of the winter interior!

[:bg]

A modern interior solution that contributes to the special atmosphere of coziness and peace in the home, and absolutely safe.

The biofireplace – the embodiment of style and exquisite taste in interior design, preserving the positive qualities of its predecessors. The main difference between bio-fireplaces and traditional fireplaces is that we do not have to waste time on maintenance and looking for a suitable place for positioning.

Another significant plus is that the modern fireplace does not dictate the rules in the interior, requiring it to be installed first and, depending on its location, to position the rest of the interior elements. In addition, the bio-fireplace can be moved effortlessly, each time creating a new environment in different rooms.

A biofireplace is a fireplace without a chimney, which means that it works with the help of natural, environmentally friendly and safe materials for life and health. In fact, ethanol or ethyl alcohol is the fuel that allows obtaining a real flame in the home bio hearth. In addition, some biofireplaces are equipped with an additional tank for aroma oils to spread pleasant aromas throughout the room.

In fact, there are several types of solutions: built-in fireplaces, standing fireplaces and tabletop ones. It is recommended to plan the location of the built-in fireplace in advance, already at the stage of conceptual design of the interior. On the other hand, the mobile option has every chance to become your spontaneous purchase this winter.

The variety of types of biofireplaces on the market is great, but the design solutions of companies such as Rubyfires are distinguished by exceptional quality and style. Different types in shape and material of manufacture allow you to choose a model in unison with the style of your interior.

In addition to all the obvious practical advantages, it should be noted that the bio-fireplace gives uniqueness to the interior as its element. A beautiful flame is not only able to warm a room in the home during the winter months, but also has its own relaxation function, and according to experts, a living flame improves well-being and restores the energy we spent during the day.

*Samples of Rubyfires’ biofireplaces, as well as consultations for them, can be obtained in the ATG showroom, at the address: Sofia, 150 Kliment Ohridski Blvd.[:]

Stages of architectural design

[:bg]

Have you decided that you want to have your own house to be built according to an individual project?

What are the stages through which a design goes through? Let’s look at them in their sequence and clarify the main activities:

  1. Identification of needs

At the start of the project, turning to an architect, it is necessary to share most of all your wishes, taking into account the predetermined area of the house. The number of rooms, their functional purpose, based on the needs of future residents and their preferences.

  1. Architectural conceptual design

The second stage is devoted to a more detailed examination, for example, determining the area of the different rooms, the height of the floors, the location of the bedrooms, etc. As a result of a thorough review of the main issues and requirements, the architect, taking into account your requirements, can very easily develop your project.

  1. Planning development

The next step is the preparation of the relevant functional schemes and the planned distribution of the individual floors. The architect offers options for the placement of the premises, which is in tune with your and the peculiarities of your lifestyle. When developing the layout, the architect takes into account the number of premises.

Your lifestyle is an important factor that has its mark on the layout of your home. For example, if you prefer to spend most of your time in the fresh air, then most likely the architect will put a suitable summer veranda or spacious terrace in the project.

  1. Appearance of architecture

This stage involves developing the vision of the site. The architect, taking into account all existing building codes and having extensive experience in the design of residential buildings, gives recommendations on the height of the building, suitable materials for construction, the type of façade and materials for external decorative elements.

At this stage, a 3D model of the house is provided, which makes it possible to view the object from all sides. The 3D model gives an accurate and detailed visual representation of the architectural idea.

  1. Technical architectural design

This stage is being developed within the framework of the construction contract. The stage consists of reworking all discussed conceptual features and details of the project and turning them into construction drawings. Algorithms of construction works are created, and according to them, construction costs are formed. The cost of preparing the detailed design and the construction costs are included in the overall valuation, which is individual for each individual project.

This stage also includes the development of schemes of communication plans, which will further affect the comfort, ergonomics and aesthetics of the interior of the home.

The drawings of the laid communications include the location of the electrical, plumbing, sewerage, heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations, etc. At this stage, specifications for sanitary equipment, switches and sockets and all details of existing communication systems are discussed.

  1. Author’s supervision

The technical design is ready, and after its final approval, its implementation or the construction of the home begins. The correct execution of the construction activities until their final completion is subject to the author’s supervision.

The author’s supervision is carried out by the architect and guarantees the implementation of the project in the form in which it is designed. [:]

Bright life: saturated colors in the interior

[:bg]

We are all used to pastel tones, which simplify the space and make it more neutral. Thus, very often the interior loses its originality and uniqueness.

Bringing your home to life with color accents is not an easy task, but we are here to tell you about a few interesting trends:

  1. Accent wall

Cladding all walls in a bright and saturated color is a very risky idea, but creating an accent wall or separating a section of a wall using color is an excellent design technique. For example, in a bedroom, the accent wall should be behind the bed – this way it will stand out and be the main focal point in the interior.

  1. Colored lockers

Monochrome kitchens are still fashionable, but today the design world offers the addition of bright color, very often in unexpected shades.

Of course, a pink or green kitchen would not look good. However, the use of different colors for the bottom or top row of cabinets or as the base of the kitchen island is very appropriate, especially if the furniture is distinguished by simple lines.

  1. Textiles

If you are thinking of adding a bright color to the interior, but at the same time being able to change it at a later stage, then the best choice is textiles in a rich shade. Pillows, blankets, curtains – it is easy to add a suitable color accent.

  1. Art objects

Another option that we can apply are the different art objects – paintings, posters and other art objects. The variety is really huge.

A well-chosen selection of bright objects complements the overall style of the room and makes it brighter and more individual.

  1. Furniture

Bright colors are used for objects that are appropriate to accentuate. In a living room or kitchen, these can be chairs. The saturated shade of the chairs will not only attract attention, but also create a feeling of celebration and home coziness inviting you to sit comfortably at the table.

Also, bright chairs around a neutral table create a pleasant visual rhythm in the room, especially if you choose one main bright color and combine the chairs with other interesting details in the same color range.

Undoubtedly, professional flair plays an essential role in the creation of the design. It allows you to foresee every detail in the interior and establish a close relationship with the temperament of the inhabitants. Therefore, do not hesitate to seek professional support. Acoustics in the home

[:bg]When acquiring a home, people mainly take into account the following factors: place, floor, layout. Unfortunately, attention is not always paid to non-obvious features that are further capable of disturbing the comfort of the occupants. One of the serious factors is sound insulation and acoustics.

In a home, sounds penetrate from the external environment, interfloor spaces or spaces between the rooms themselves. For the different types of noise, there are developed prevention systems, which, if desired, are included in the project by a professional designer.

There are two main types of noise – impact noise and airborne noise – each of which requires its own shades of insulation. Impact noise occurs when objects are mechanically impacted on a board. This sound can be triggered, for example, by a simple walking of the neighbors from above. A heavily switched on TV or playing a musical instrument are sources of airborne noise.

The use of acoustic noise removal solutions is not difficult, as long as it is carried out at the beginning of the design. The choice of a sound insulation system is based on the features of the building, namely the materials from which the walls are made.

Exterior interior design is also capable of fighting noise, even if you started thinking about it at the last stage of design. A variety of soft and porous materials in the coating of walls, floors, as well as soft soundproofing furniture, decorative panels and elements are able to significantly reduce sound exchange with neighbors and echoes. Soundproofing properties also have the biggest hit in interior solutions, namely decorative moss.

Conversely, if your home is made in styles such as minimalism and loft, there is not much furniture or partitions in the rooms, and the walls are characterized by a smooth surface, then the acoustics in these rooms will amplify any sound of yours or your neighbors. This is the reason why the decision for sound insulation was made at the beginning of the project in order to be able to integrate the special panels into the walls and/or floor.

Noise-absorbing materials can not only be integrated into the walls of the room, but also have a decorative character in the interior. Usually, the positioning of noise-absorbing elements is in close proximity to the sound source (musical instrument, home theater, music speakers). An example of such an element is a sound-absorbing panel, a 3D panel on the walls or a special sound-absorbing furniture made of non-traditional material, the specially made lamps of the pendant type from the images.

One of the best methods of sound insulation is the acoustic ceiling. It reduces the intensity of sound reflection, absorbs noise and improves the acoustics in the room. In the space between the two main layers, you can easily and simply hide the elements of the electrical, ventilation and lighting systems. Most often, pressed boards made of very thin glass or mineral fibers are used as amoisture-absorbing material intended for such ceilings.

The sound insulation system is selected by a professional interior designer who proceeds from a system of factors. For each type of room, layout, wall material, location of the home and even from the specifics of your lifestyle or hobby, the methods, materials and places for positioning sound-absorbing solutions are chosen. Why is wallpaper not what it used to be?

[:bg]

The modern world of wallpaper impresses with the latest trends and technologies.

Nowadays, there is a wide variety of different wall coverings, but wallpaper is considered one of the traditional and popular materials for transforming the design of any room. Considered obsolete, today wallpaper is an absolute favorite in the creation of Stylish interior!

But why aren’t wallpapers what they used to be?

Thanks to the latest technologies and with the help of natural materials , modern wallpaper is a real work of art, so they are distinguished not only by their unique attractive appearance, but also by their exceptional functionality.

Reputable brands such as Omexco and Khroma offer a range of products made of natural materials that dress the walls in modern interiors. These materials can be silk, cork, bamboo and other plant fibers and natural materials.

Main advantages:

  • environmental friendliness – they are safe for health (anti-allergenic) and for the environment;
  • sufficiently hardy, exposed to the effects of light and weather;
  • easy to maintain and do not require special care;
  • with their help, we can model the space through optical illusions;
  • design tailored to users’ desire to correct surface defects ;
  • Denser types of natural wallpaper have the ability to improve sound insulation, while reducing heat loss in the room.

Natural wallpapers make the interior unique – they breathe life into it, which could not be achieved with surfaces imitating natural materials.

Let’s take a look at the most modern solutions:

Cork wallpaper can be viewed alongside wood wallpaper , as it is made from cork wood. Such cladding has special aesthetic and practical properties. It perfectly complements the interior stylistically, visually and practically gives coziness and warmth to the space. It also has soundproofing properties and retains heat in the room.

Bamboo wallpaper is definitely one of the hits of modern design. They are used for rooms where humidity varies – kitchen and bathroom. The more exquisite ones are successfully combined with the modern style of the rest of the rooms in the home. We advise using bamboo wallpaper for wall cladding and their individual fragments. Wallpapers of natural origin do not stand out in the interior, on the contrary, they perfectly complement it. Tinted bamboo in a variety of colors can help in the realization of many bold and successful combinations.

Silk and linen wallpaper gives the modern interior incredible originality and splendor. Delicate textures in their variety of shades are suitable for both the living room and the bedroom. With proper planning and positioning, with the use of natural shades , we can visually expand the space.

Have you heard of mineral wallpaper? The coating of these wallpapers is made using a special technology that processes materials such as quartz and granite. The material is environmentally friendly and extremely easy to clean. In addition, the produced cladding has unique natural shades, color effects and textures.

Wallpaper goes well with natural materials used for flooring, ceiling cladding and as an element of furniture. Choosing from the variety of colors and textures made of natural material, we can position them as a background or, respectively, as a décor in a room.

Definitely, this variety of colors and materials makes the choice an interesting, fascinating activity, which is often time-consuming. Modern wallpapers correspond to the latest design trends, but they need to be harmoniously combined with the other elements of the room, so do not hesitate to seek professional support in choosing the most modern wall cladding. Feng Shui design – harmony in the home

[:bg]

Feng Shui is a philosophical science of balance, the main idea of which is the search for beauty and harmony in oneself and in the surrounding world. This is the reason why this science considers the living space as a living organism and tries to bring it into harmony with man.

Feng Shui interior design, in short, is about maintaining a balance between Yin and Yang (parts of a complete whole), as well as providing access to Qi energy (a fundamental substance in the universe).

How to turn your home into a generator of positive energy? Let’s look at a few rules for organizing space according to Feng Shui, which will help us arrange our home not only stylishly, but also energy literate:

  • Use of natural materials;
  • Presence of at least one wall with a window in each room;
  • Absence of furniture with very sharp shapes;
  • Bright but not intrusive lighting, regulated by natural light and light curtains;
  • Presence of mirrors visually expanding the space;
  • The presence of pictures that evoke positive emotions – according to Feng Shui, they are the main activators of positive energy.

Sounds good, right? But how to make the living room cozy?

The living room is the heart of the home and a symbol of hospitality – according to Feng Shui, the design of this room influences the harmony in the family. Smooth surfaces, plants, a coffee table located in the center of the composition, a bookcase, a sofa with a high back – elements that provide harmony and positive Qi energy . We should not forget about the paintings that complement the design and give completeness to the interior.

Feng Shui in the bedroom?

An important center in our home – the bedroom is the place that protects us from negative energy, where we charge our vitality. The bed is the central element in this room, the shape of which is recommended to be square or rectangular, but never round. For the purpose of harmony , the bed should not be located directly opposite the door into the room.

What should be the design of the bathroom?

The main requirement for the bathroom – a room where the human body is in its natural beauty – cleanliness and conciseness. In this area designed for complete relaxation, all the intrusive details, accessories of the décor that can destroy the positive energy are superfluous. In this space there should be everything you need – bright lighting, mirrors – visually enlargement of the space, ergonomic furniture and good ventilation.

How to organize the kitchen according to Feng Shui?

A source of sustenance and a symbol of the opportunity to eat thanks to our labor. If we spend a third of our lives in the bedroom, then another hour in the kitchen or dining room. That is why the kitchen should be harmoniously furnished and create a cozy atmosphere. One of the main requirements of Feng Shui is the separation of the sink from the oven and the stove (symbols of two opposite elements – water and fire) – this is what determines the correct flow of Qi energy.
